The aqueduct network begins by conducting  raw water from the intake bypass chamber to the treatment plant. Its flow is always by gravity and goes from a higher level to a lower level,

The water goes through the purification process in the Drinking Water Treatment Plant and the treated water goes to the storage tanks. Every section of conduction or impulsion has the complementary elements necessary for its proper operation, such as: butterfly, gate, annular, expulsion and air intake valves (suction cup) and cleaning and discharges (purges). The valves are used to open or close the flow in certain paths of the pipeline.

From the storage tanks, the water is brought to the population through pipes of smaller diameter called distribution networks.  Of the  distribution pipes detach the domiciliary ones that are in charge, finally, of  bring the water of each of the users.
